Perched atop the mountain with breathtaking panoramic views, this second home began as a simple refresh but quickly evolved into a comprehensive renovation designed to maximize both beauty and rental appeal.

The homeowner's vision was to create a warm, inviting mountain retreat that would serve as a personal getaway while also generating strong monthly income as a luxury vacation rental. Every design decision was made with both comfort and functionality in mind.

The renovation included complete updates to both bathrooms, along with the addition of a custom bedroom vanity to better accommodate guests. The kitchen was transformed with new countertops, a redesigned island, and freshly painted cabinetry, creating a brighter, more welcoming gathering space. Throughout the home, fresh paint, updated lighting and finishes, a new front window, and the installation of a barn door provided both architectural character and practical privacy for an awkward bedroom that previously opened directly into the main living area.

To maximize the budget, much of the existing furniture was thoughtfully repurposed, while all bedding, window treatments, rugs, and décor were replaced to create a cohesive mountain-inspired design. Outside, the porches, landscaping, and garden spaces were completely reimagined, extending the living experience and showcasing the home's spectacular mountain setting.

The result is a beautifully renovated retreat that seamlessly balances timeless design, guest comfort, and investment potential—transforming an ordinary second home into a sought-after mountain destination.
